Hair color: pure black hair that goes down to his eyes.
Skin color: pale
Personality: always sorta scared and nervous, but he’s energetic and has an agreeable personality.

(Also if it's not to personal can I ask what country you are in, so I can get a hang of time-zones and that. I'm in England. )

Kai woke up with a start, looking outside. He woke up SUPER early, just like he had for the pas month or two. He had another nightmare about Syria, which he just managed to escape with his brother a month or two ago. -
Amira hadn't slept since Tuesday night. Since her parents had talked to her about the war and how it wasn't safe anymore. She rubbed her eyes struggling to stay awake- she would be leaving soon but it was top secret, her Mother, Andrea had told her.

Kai’s heart was still pounding from the nightmare, and he tried to calm himself down. It didn’t work. He didn’t know nightmares could get so realistic and terrifying until he started having recurring nightmares over Syria and the war.

Amira hd packed her bag that morning. She wasn't allowed much, just water, and some food. She had also packed her phone though under strict instructions to delete all apps for now- so they couldn't be tracked. Also, she had hidden her teddy that she'd had since she was a baby. NO WAY could she leave him behind.

Eventually Kai heard his brother, Aaron wake up, and he got out of bed, changing into some clothes he was going to wear for the day. -

Amira felt someone's presence in her room and she turned around to see her Mum wearing a sad look on her face. "Have you finished darling? We better get in the car"
Amira nodded not daring to speak, scared she would start crying. -
Kai went into Aaron’s area room, where the little kid was just sitting on his bed.
“You ready to get out of the house?” Kai asked his little brother, and he just shook his head. -
A few minutes later, Amira, her Mum, her Father and her little sister Dalia were in the car, the world pitch black outside.

Kai sat down on his brothers bed, sitting next to him. “Did you have another nightmare?” He asked, and Aaron nodded, still not saying a word.
“Hey, I grabbed something for you before we had to leave.” Kai said, digging in his coat pocket and grabbing Aaron’s favorite toy car. “It’s not much….”
Aaron’s face lit up. “YES, thank you!” -
About an hour later, Amira and her family had arrived at a house. The house they would be staying in for the next week until her Father paid the rest of the money for the boat. Amira sighed and helped her sister out of the car. Dalia looked up at her, lip trembling. "I don't want to stay here, it smells" she whined. Amira hugged her.
"It'll be alright" -
“Do you want to get out of the house?” Kai asked Aaron, elbowing him. “Go outside, meet some friends?”
Aaron still shook his head. “I don’t want to right now.” -
Amira lifted her sister up, and holding her Mum's hand they knocked on the door. A man in black, wearing a mask that covered all of his face apart from his eyes answered. "Names" he snapped in a deep gruff voice.
Dad glanced around checking nobody was near. "Hassan" he whispered still very cautious.
The man nodded, and took Dad to another part of the building and then came back for us.
"Males in that block, Females and Babies here" he explained rather grudgingly.
