Anne held up her dress. It was pale green with short puffy sleeves and a lovely skirt that went to the ankles. 'It's lovely!'

"There both beautiful!" Lily exclaimed as Anne pulled hers on over her undergarments.

Anne did a little twirl in her new frock. 'Yours looks wonderful on you.' -
"Thanks, you look way better though" Lily complimented.
(Have you seen Indigo Ink recently? We started a roleplay a few months ago and he just randomly disappeared!) -
(you'd be surprised by how many GTQ users randomly disappear and come back months later without saying anything)
'Thank you,' Anne said with a grin. -
(What should we do in the RP now?)
"So what would you like to do?" Lily asked sitting back down on Anne's bed. -
(more cringe romance things until Anne steals money?)
'What would you like to?' Anne asked, sitting down next to her friend. She smoothed out her skirt before turning back to Lily. -
(What? Anne is a thief? Ohhh yeah sorry I remember the plot now 😅)
"I don't really mind, like I said earlier I don't really know what kind of things you guys do" she muttered but not unkindly. -
'Hm,' Anne said, looking around. 'Do you know how to play chess? Miss Lynde down the road says chess is too stimulating for a woman, but that's a load of poppycock.'

"I think so, I've played a daft game of draughts before, is it simliar?"
(I'VE actually only played chess like twice in my life 😭😅) -

'Not really,' Anne chuckled, standing up and opening her cupboard, took out a chess board and pieces and set them on the floor. 'Here, I'll set it up.' -
Lily smiled as Anne taught her how to play. "This is really confusing me" she laughed.

Anne laughed. 'See, now I have you in check. You need to move your king away from my rook.'

Lily nodded moving her piece across the board. "Like that?"

'Yes,' Anne said, moving her pawn and taking out Lily's knight.
