Lily shook her head with a sad smile. "No I haven't"

'The first time is always the best,' Anne said, and she meant it.

"Well then I guess we're going to have a lot of fun together!" she grinned.

'I suppose we are!' Anne replied with a half-hearted grin and looked back out the condos, watching the world pass by.

(Timeskip to at the beach?)

Soon the cart rolled to a stop. Lily jumped out of her seat and peered out the window. Sand was spread out in the ground, everywhere she could see and if she squinted she could see the opal-coloured sea. "We're here!" she exclaimed.

'It seems we are!' Anne said, stepping out of the cart. She held onto her hat as the wind whistled in her ears, messing up her two braids. -
(All good)
Lily watched Anne cling onto her hat and laughed. "Last one to the sea is a rotten egg!" She chuckled then shot off. -
'Oi!' Anne shouted after Lily, then ran after her in a fit of giggles. It was harder for Anne to run on the sand, and Lily had had a significant head start, so the latter obviously won. Anne eventually reached the water after Lily, trying to catch her breath.

Lily didn't brag about her win, just laughed and took Anne's hand. "Look, donkey rides!" she exclaimed pointing over at the sea.

'Cool,' Anne wheezed, still trying to catch her breath.
'Girls, come and help me set up!' Mariella shouted, laying a blanket on the sand. -

Lily walked at Anne's pace, still holding her hand because she could tell she was out of breath.
"Hurry up now and I might let you have a donkey ride!" Mariella encourages holding up a small purse that jingled with coins.
