Our characters are members of a famous adventures/mages guild, and have been working for the guild for a few years now, helping people and taking out dangerous monsters that crop up from time to time.
Our characters get sent out on what seems to be a routine monster elimination mission, taking care of some creature that was destroying villages in the mountains. But when they arive, they don't find the monster they where expecting. Instead they find a former high level guild member, who had supposedly been killed in action several years before, driven completely insane and attacking innocent people, claiming to be taking revenge for the guilds betrayal. The party must now find the truth of the matter, while also keeping the insane mage from hurting anyone -

Naydren hummed quietly to himself as the group walked along the road, his baby shark hound riding in a bag on his back as the hybrid looking around cautiously. "....I can smell fire...." he said nervously, his tail swaying behind him as they got closer to the city they where supposed to help, looking at the other two while moving a little closer to Emrena
