She takes another few cautious steps forward, coming to rest in the clearing the others inhabit.
"Yeah, fine. If you say so." -
She frowns at the younger woman's apparent apprehension.
"Hey, I really mean it. You'll be safe. I won't let anything hurt any of you." -
"Bold of you to assume we need-"

"You're such a sweetheart! I am gonna leave such a good review on Yelp for you." he cuts Ryuu off, jumping in place like a cheerleader. Then he pivots on his heel and starts walking.

She pauses for a long moment, weighing her options. Could she find civilization again without these shady people? She sincerely doubted it, although she was usually pretty good with her sense of direction. She notices Sehei marching off and scoffs.
"Where are you going?" -
"We gotta get going somewhere! Might as well be this way, unless someone else has a better idea!"

She perks up a bit at the prospect of getting moving, and elects to follow the exceptionally pretty man and see where they ended up. Worse came to worst, she was confident she could level the forest and find their way out that way.

He has also made an unspoken decision to follow his brothers leadership, treading quietly after him, all attention having left the new girl he had been prepared to corner a moment before.

She gawks as her party makes their way deeper into the woods. She can't stay with them if they're going to blindly follow the orders of literally the dumbest f---ing person she has ever had the displeasure of hearing talk.
"Seriously? You don't want to, like.. take a vote? Weigh your options?" -
He stops walking and turns back to face the group, still wearing that bright smile.
"You wanna take a vote?" -
"Oh, gosh, can we not? I thought we were all getting along. I don't know any of you well enough to be taking a side here."

"But you've known Sehei at least two minutes longer than you've known..." he trails off, staring the younger woman down now.

No f---ing way this is actually happening.
"Cecilia." she hisses through her teeth, glaring daggers at the dark-haired man. -
"Right." he says with a curt nod, shrugging. "You've known Sehei two minutes longer than you've known Cecilia. So why not give him the benefit of the doubt? What's the worst thing that could happen?"
