She squints at the word "superhero". She was fairly certain she'd heard that humans born with amazing powers had been a much more frequent occurrence lately, but never heard much about it, It had just never been important to her.

"That's what she said!" he cheers back, taking no care to reciprocate his brothers discretion.
Without further ado, he paces over to meet Ember face to face, holding out a hand politely.
"I'm Sehei! It's really nice to meet you." he jerks his head back in Ryuu's direction as well. "And that's my big brother, Ryuu!" -
She stares at the extended hand in confusion for a split second. It wasn't normally this easy to convince people not to be worried about her... admittedly kinda scary looks.
The confusion didn't linger, and was replaced quickly by elation to have been accepted so easily.
"It's great to meet you, Sehei, and Ryuu! I hope we become good friends!" -
His face is down-turned, but his eyes are still glued to the woman's face, peering up through his eyelashes.
"Mhm. So when are we going to talk about the other person still hiding in the brush?" -
She freezes up where she stands. How did he know?

"Huh? Who?" he questions, tilting his head to one side.

Her eyes fall right past Sehei now and land squarely on Ryuu.
"There's someone else here?" she echoes the younger of the two's sentiment, looking around almost frantically. How would he know? More importantly, how would he know before even she did? -
Watching the expressions flicker across the girl's face, he finds that he does believe she's oblivious. The hidden fourth person isn't with her, to say the least, meaning this probably isn't an ambush so much as someone just scoping out the situation before making themself known.
"Come out now. No one's going to hurt you." he calls out clearly into the woods. -
She waits a moment longer, just to see if she could possibly get away with not coming out.

He starts walking toward the tree the stranger is hiding behind without a word.

Hearing footsteps approaching, she abandons her hope of not being found and steps out into plain sight of her own volition. She looks awkwardly at the much taller man approaching her.
"Hey." she says, quietly, and hopes he'll at least have the decency to back off now. -
"Oh!" she looks startled, turning now to face the other young woman. "Gosh, are you okay? You shouldn't be out here alone either. Please, come with us! I'll keep you all safe until we find the edge of the forest!"

His smile has not faltered for a second, even with the introduction of the newcomer. He bounces on his toes a bit and waves to her as well.
"Hey! What they said, we won't hurt you!" -
"Do you have to be so loud first thing in the morning?"

He looks a little hurt by the comment, but gets over it quickly and bobs his head back and forth as if to the rhythm of a song only he can hear.
