"Goodmmm-" Nick's words were inaudible as he relaxed and fell asleep.

Dream woke up first to hear someone outside. He cautiously pulled away from Nick, leaving him asleep and walked toward the door. He stood there for a minute before someone noticed him.
"Sir! The king wants everyone inside the palace walls as soon as possible!!!" The person cried, running off before Dream could ask a question.
He frowned and went back to Sapnap and tried to wake him up. "Sap, c'mon. I need to tell you something." -
Nick groaned and rolled away from Dream. "No-" He murmered.

Dream shook him again. "Yes. C'mon, the king wants everyone inside the city walls at the palace. He has to tell us something. C'mon, let's go."

"HUH!?" Nick jumped up instantly, nearly tripping over poor Trixie.

Dream jerked back to avoid getting hit. "Yeah. C'mon. Let's go!" He grinned at Nick, grabbing his mask and clipping it back on.

Nick didn't wait for Clay, he simply rushed down their tower and out the door.

Dream sprinted after Nick, catching up once they were both in the streets. "So I get to see the outside of the palace without sneaking in, right?" He panted when he caught up with Nick.

"Mhm" Nick responded. He felt sick to his stomach, and couldn't figure out quite why. Schlatt speaking was terrifying enough, but why was his heart racing? Why was he sick with anxiety?

Dream frowned deeply. "What do you think he's going to say? What do you think he needs to tell us?"

Nick felt too sick to reply. He just kept running toward the castle grounds.

Dream nodded, having a feeling about what it was when Nick didn't reply. Oh, god. I hope he didn't hurt Karl or George.

Once they made it to the castle grounds, they saw the gates wide open and people entering. The Guards scanned everyone that entered, but they did so halfheartedly. One looked to be on the verge of tears.
"Oh no..." Nick muttered. -
Dream gasped. "You don't think ... He wouldn't..... Not so soon..." He could barely for the words he spoke and they barely made any sense.
