Karl's face was a deep red. He wouldn't meet Nick's eyes. "I'm sorry" He repeated.
Clay was starting to feel dizzy as he carefully knelt down by their stuff, looking for anything to close the cut. The blood streamed down as he reached for a towel. -
Nick shook his head. "Don't be, please. It's okay."
-
Dream was about to apply pressure when he suddenly had the thought that he shouldn't. After all, it was his fault that Karl almost got seriously hurt, or worse.
Karl looked up at Nick, and seeing the kindness and sincerity in his expression, smiled. "Okay. Thank you."
Clay fell to his knees, the dizziness taking over. he watched the dark red liquid stream down and fall from his fingertips -
Nick smiled, glancing over to Dream once he heard him fall. "Dream? Are you okay?"
-
"Y-Yeah." Clay lied as his vision blurred.
Karl couldn't see much past Nick, but he didn't sound okay. "Are you sure?" Karl asked, -
Nick glanced around Clay, seeing blood drip from Clay's wrists. "Jesus-" He gasped, quickly standing up and rushing the few steps over to Clay. He grabbed the towel directly in front of him, quickly wrapping the blonde's wrists up and gently applying pressure. "Karl, can you find some water?"
-
"What? Why, what's wrong?" Karl asked as he jumped up and grabbed a bottle of water from their pile of things. He brought it over to Nick and gasped. "What the honk!? Clay!?" Karl looked at the blood on the ground and the blood seeping through the towel. "Holy s***"
Clay attempted to bat Nick away, stating 'i'm fine' over and over again -
"Clay, stop," Nick said sternly, taking the water bottle and slowly pouring it onto Clay's cuts before wrapping them in the towel again. "You're not fine, so stop trying to convince me that you are."
-
"What even happened!? Oh my god...Nick, you're gonna need more than a towel!" Karl said frantically.
"I'm fine...let me go." Clay tried to jerk away from Sapnap, but he didn't have the strength to. He struggled for air and to say awake.
Karl gazed wide-eyed at Nick. "S-Should I call someone!?" He asked. -
Nick forgot to breathe for a second as he glanced at Clay to his wrists, trying to decide what to do. "Yeah-"
-
Karl darted to grab his phone from the sand. "911?" He asked.
Clay's vision faded to black as he fell forward. -
Nick yelped, reaching his arms out to catch Clay. He quickly laid him down, looking over to Karl. "Yes-" He said, his mind running wild.
-
Karl called dialed and walked over to the side. '911 what's your emergency?' "Help, we're at the beach and my friend Clay is bleeding out, it's something in his wrists. We don't know what to do!!"
-
"Clay-" Nick said, gently hitting Clay's cheek. He grumbled quietly, reaching and grabbing another towel, continuing to apply pressure on his wrists.
-
"Okay, we'll send an ambulance over okay? Apply pressure to his wrists."
"O-Okay" Karl replied, his voice breaking.
Clay was limp on the ground, the blood had drained from his face and he looked...lifeless
