"I highly doubt it!" Karl replied as he let go of Nick. He then lightly jogged over to the spot Clay picked. "Come on!" He called behind him.
Clay watched the entire scene and smiled. He laid a beach blanket on the ground and started to set out the snacks and drinks. -
"What the f---," Sapnap breathed, too quiet for Karl to hear as he jogged away. The ravenette zoned out as he watched Karl for a moment, before snapping out of it and walking over.
-
"Okay, so we've got chips, cookies, sandwiches, soda, water..." Clay started listing off everything he decided to bring. "OH, SUNSCREEN!" He tossed the bottle to Nick. "Put some on."
Karl giggled and reached for a bag of chips. -
"Fine, dad," Nick said with a chuckle, starting to put it on.
-
"Dad, huh?" Clay repeated. He handed Karl the swimming trunks he brought. "Here you go, out these on!" He said enthusiastically.
"Okay!" Karl replied. He ran off towards the restroom to change. -
"Yes," Nick said with a chuckle. He quickly finished applying the sunscreen, closing the bottle and tossing it back to Clay. "Ugh, it always smells so bad."
-
"I know, right?" Clay agreed as he started to put sunscreen on himself. He smiled as he looked out at the ocean. "I can't believe George is coming here, man."
-
"I know," Nick said with a chuckle. "Also, since when did you get Karl to come?"
-
"He's who I was texting in the car." Clay said with a laugh.
-
"You liar," Nick teased with a laugh, shaking his head as he sat down on the blanket.
-
"He was, and you had no idea!" Clay taunted.
Karl came sprinting back, with just the trunks on, no shirt. The sun shone down on his back and seemed to light up his eyes. He skidded to a stop in front of the blanket and laughed. "Clay, hand me the sunscreen please!" He asked with a smile.
"Here!" Clay tossed him the bottle and laughed. -
Nick stuck his tongue out at Clay before looking over to Karl. He froze, red appearing on his cheeks as if he were already sunburned.
-
(LMFAO Y E S!!!)
Karl hadn't noticed Nick's expression at all. He started to rub sunscreen on his arms and legs. He couldn't quite get his back. "Oh shoot." He said to himself.
Clay, noticing both of his friend's struggle in their own way, decided to make it entirely worse for both of them. "Nick, can you help Karl with the sunscreen, please?" He asked with a mischievous smirk. -
"I-" Nick stuttered, glaring over at Clay before slowly standing. "Yeah- sure," He said, holding out his hand to take the sunscreen from Karl.
-
Karl's face turned a cherry red and his eyes went wide as he handed the bottle over. "T-Thank you" He stuttered. He turned around, and the sun shone off of his skin.
Clay snickered and grabbed a sandwich.
