"Let me help with some of them," George said, starting to stand. "So you don't fall again-"
-
"I don't want you to get more hurt than you already are! Besides, I need you to grab the tent...wherever it is." Clay said, knowing damn well that the bag the tent was condensed into barely weighed anything. He just wanted to make it as easy on George as possible, and he'd already kinda f---ed that up.
-
George blinked, nodding slowly. "Where's the linen closet?"
-
"I think it's at the end of this hallway...stupid mansion. I'm gonna sell it and then buy some tiny cabin, or maybe a small beach house. f--- this-" Clay muttered sarcastically.
-
George giggled a little, walking past Clay and opening a door that happened to be the linen closet. He quickly found the tent and grabbed it.
-
Clay stumbled up the stairs and across the third floor, still muttering stupid things about selling the house and dropping off the map.
-
George followed him, picking up a pillow that he had accidentally dropped.
-
"Hey George, wanna hide away from the rest of the world with me?" Clay called, not really expecting an answer. "We can like, get a cabin at the base of a mountain. No more people, except maybe Nick and Karl."
-
"Sure," George answered almost immediately.
-
Dream gasped as he climbed the final flight of stairs. "Really?"
-
"Yeah," George said, following up.
-
"f--- yeah!" Clay said excitedly. He reached the door to the roof, awkwardly standing and trying to figure out how to open it with his hands full.
-
George chuckled, waiting.
-
Clay eventually just decided to kick the door open, and then moved quickly to hold it for George. "Our fort building glory awaits!!" He exclaimed.
-
George chuckled, walking out. "Yeah!"
