"I can help," George said, noticing he was struggling.
Nick pulled away after a moment, smiling and pressing his forehead against Karl's. -
"I've got it though-" Clay protested a moment before he tripped and fell forward, shrieking in surprise. The blankets and pillows flew everywhere, and Clay was tangled up in them.
"I love you, so much," Karl whispered. -
George laughed for a moment. "You've got them, huh?"
"I love you too," Nick said with a smile. "More than you realize-" -
"Without a doubt-" Clay said sarcastically before laughing along with George.
"More than I realize?" Karl echoed softly. -
George's laughter quickly died down, and he did his best to pick some of the blankets up without showing he was in pain.
"Way more than you realize," Nick affirmed, turning red. -
Clay tried to get up, but ended up tripping and nearly falling on his face again. He somehow managed to properly tangle himself up. "I- Uh- A little help?" He asked sheepishly.
Karl flushed and didn't know what to say. "I..." -
George chuckled, glancing over to Clay before dropping what he had and stepping over to Clay. "How?"
Nick smiled, lifting his head and pressing a kiss onto Karl's forehead. He wrapped his arms around Karl and laid back on the couch. -
"How to help, or how the hell did I manage to do this? The answer to both is I don't f---ing know-" Clay said, laughing lightheartedly.
Karl relaxed and sighed, and a wave of exhaustion crashed over him. It both terrified and confused him. I slept earlier, Nick forced me to. So why the hell am I tired!? I don't want more dreams, please no more nightmares- -
George scoffed playfully, grabbing a blanket he was wrapped up in and pulling on it.
Nick hummed quietly, rubbing Karl's back. -
Clay had tried to stand up at the moment George pulled, and yelped in surprise when he nearly had his legs taken out from under him. "ACK, WAIT WAIT WAIT-"
Karl yawned, and hated himself for it. He tensed up and pointlessly hoped that Nick wasn't paying attention. -
George abruptly stopped, looking at Clay with wide eyes clouded with confusion.
"Shh," Nick said quietly. "Go to bed, you're tired, it's okay." -
"If you pull on that one it'll knock me over i- it's around my legs-" Clay said quickly. He glanced down at himself and sighed. He tried to ease back down onto the floor, but ended up falling. He laid back and groaned. "On second thought, pretty much all of them are everywhere...I've been defeated by a pile of blankets-"
"B- But I slept earlier, I-" Karl stammered. -
George giggled a little, shaking his head. He crouched down next to Clay, grabbing one that went under his back. "Hold on- this one might be okay-"
-
"Alright," Clay shifted and felt the blanket pulled out from under him, and a couple of others loosened as well. He dramatically gasped and declared "One free...approximately a thousand more to go."
-
George giggled again, grabbing another blanket and pulling it.
(sorry, completely forgot abt Nick-)
"And it's okay to sleep again," Nick said softly. "Just relax, we're not doing anything."
