Something in Vivian's voice was making Oliver suspicious but he just bit his lip and ruminated. "Yeah, maybe," he said. "Did you find that book you were looking for?"

``Yeah, I did,`` Vivian said with a nod. ``Hey uh, wanna head to the park now?``

Oliver nodded energetically, eager to get out of the place before the girl could sneak up on him again. "That sounds good."

Vivian nodded, reaching out to grab Oliver's hand. ``Uh, can I take your hand again?`` She asked, looking up at him.

Oliver felt comforted by the fact that she asked first. He held out his hand as if he was going to shake her hand. "Sure."

Vivian smiled and gently grabbed Oliver's hand, starting to walk out of the Barnes and Nobles. She hummed quietly as she walked down the sidewalk, heading to the park.

Oliver held onto her hand, making sure to be gentle. The cars zoomed in and out of hearing and the buzz of people talking was loud as ever, but it didn't scare him quite as much as it used to.

Vivian took a turn, pausing before walking across the street and over to the park. She lead Oliver with her, walking through a large set of trees and into a field-like area with flowers and bushes scattered around them. She inhaled and smiled, walking over to a bench and sitting down, sitting Oliver down with her.

Oliver put a hand out to catch himself, expecting to fall onto the ground but landed on a bench instead. The aroma of flowers was all around them and he was so distracted by it that he forgot to let go of Vivian's hand.

``I used to go here all the time,`` Vivian said with a smile, leaning back against the bench. ``Then life got chaotic and I didn't have the time to come out here.`` She chuckled, looking around her surroundings as she lightly gripped Oliver's hand.

"It seems nice and peaceful. I'll bet it's beautiful too," he said somewhat enviously. What he wouldn't give to be able to see it all, to see her. Oliver blinked in surprise when he felt Vivian's warm hand still holding his and even more surprised to find that he had no objections to it.
"What do you look like?" he asked, staring in what he thought to be her face, but was actually more so the air around her ear. -
"It sure is beautiful," Vivian said with a warm smile, watching two young kids run by with a dog almost as bug as them, laughing and playing.
"What do I look like? Well, nothing special of course," she replied with a short chuckle. "Pale skin covered in freckles, curly unnatural colored hair, wears clothing that makes me look like I'm a Disney princess." She exhaled, leaning back and looking upat the sky. "Nothing special, really." -
"No, that's not quite right. You are special," Oliver said with a somewhat puzzled frown. "You sound very beautiful. I wish I see you."

Vivian flushed bright red, a smile spreading across her face. ``Thanks,`` she said quietly as she looked down at her feet, gently gripping Oliver's hand.
