Rosanne sighed. "Did you have any parents?" she asked.

He shook his head "Artificial"

"Oh," she said. Then for some reason her brain pieced a few certain things together. "So you don't have a mark, do you?"

He paused, seeming confused for a few seconds before seeming to realize something and twisted around. Just under the structure on his back was a black mark, identical to hers. "Creator Angry Try Hide"

Rosanne stared for a moment before lifting a part of her shirt where her mark showed on her side.

He blinked at the mark, moving closer to look at it better before tilting his head up towards her, confused

"We have the same mark," Rosanne said. "That means...we're soulmates."

"Soulmates?" He mimicked back, not understanding

"Two people meant to be together," Rosanne explained.

He just blinked again, still not understanding

"Basically two people are born with the same mark," Rosanne said, trying to explain further. "And the one that has the same mark as you is meant to be together with you."

Theta frowned in thought, doing his best to understand "together?"

"Like in a relationship together. Most of the time they end up getting married," Rosanne said. Man she was bad at explaining things.
