"Nonono," Rosanne said, holding her hand out to help him out of the cage. "You're free."

He stared at her hand before looking at her face "Free?" He Mimicked, not knowing that word

She nodded. "You can go where you want and do what you want without people ordering you about."

He then shook his head "Weapon." He said in the womans voice

"Not if you don't want to," she said. She shook her hand s little, urging him to take it.

He stared at her for a few seconds before eventualy taking her hand, standing up. He was freezing cold to the touch

She almost jerked away from the sudden coldness in her hands, but she didn't. She gently pulled him out pf the cage.

He let her pull him out, looking around while clicking his intake ports open to try to get some magic

Rose felt an odd sensation that could only be coming from Theta. "What're you doing?" she inquired.

He took a few seconds to find the words he needed "Feeding? Magic, Starvation?" He tried

Starvation. Rosanne gave him a nod and started walking out of the building.

He trailed after her, looking around as he did

Rosanne led him outside into the sunlight. She saw the other cop cars there and decided that they shouldn't know about Theta. The word 'weapon' would hit their ears and chaos would happen. She snuck him over to her car.

He flinched a little at the bright sun, his eyelights shrinking down
