Theta calmed down a little, but stayed where he was

She ran her hand up and down his back. "What about it hurts?"

He lifted a hand and tapped where his ear would be if he had ears

"You don't like the sound?" she asked.

He shook his head "Silence Normal"

"Oh," she said. He just wasn't used to it. She suddenly got an odd idea.
"Wanna watch a silent movie?" -
He pulled his head out and looked at her in confusion

She turned off the tv. She actually had a silent movie DVD somewhere in her stack of them. She pulled it out and popped it into the dvd player

Theta watched her carefully, looking like he was going to attack the tv if it hurt her

Rosanne sat back on the couch just as the movie started. It would show a scene and then the words that the people were saying after each one.

Theta slowly calmed down as he watched, tilting his head a little

'This is how movies used to be," she said.

He looked at her and nodded in understanding before looking back at the tv

"Is this better than the other stuff?" she asked.

He nodded again, clocking his vents quietly
