He tilted his head at the boxes before picking out Sorry

"A simple enough game," she said, and took the box. She walked over to the dining room table

He trailed after her, looking curious

"What color do you want?" she asked, opening the box.

He immediately picked Green, grinning to himself

Rosanne adjusted the board so that green faced Theta and took yellow for herself, placing the pieces in the circle.

Theta watched curiously

"Put your pieces here," she pointed, then started shuffling the deck

He did as she said, clicking quietly

"Now on the first card you draw you move forward that many spaces, unless it tells you to go backwards or is a SORRY card," Rosanne instructed.
(Me looking up the rules because i forgot lol) -
He nodded in understanding

And so they played, Rosanne giving Theta pointers and instructions as they went.

Theta seemed happy as they played, very quickly learning

The first round was over. Theta had won. "Another round?" she asked.
