El inhaled and opened her mouth, about to say something about what he had explained to her previously, but... she had nothing. Her head hung low. "No."

"Okay," he said with a little huff on his voice. He then went into his whole speech over again

(Hmmmm... I wonder how mad would Julian would get if I have El zone out about him again... XD)

(He has a slow fuse)

El didn't mean to again, but she zoned out. She couldn't stop staring at Julian's face.
(Ok I think that sounded creepy XD oh no) -
"And so..." Julian looked at El. "You're not paying attention, are you."

“Yyyeaano. No I am not.”

"Ok," he said, "I'm going to check in with you every few seconds."

El sighed. “Ok. I’m sorry.”

After about every other phrase Julian would check in with El.

El tried her best to play attention this time, though it was hard when she was looking up at Julian. She finally managed to understand what he was telling her.

"Alright," Julian said. "Now you do half of these sheets and I do the other half, tell me if you need help."

El nodded and began to work

Julian too began to work. While he was taking a sip he accidentally spilled his cocoa
