Julian poured the water into two mugs. He had cocoa and she had tea. "Whipped cream?" It tasted really good on chai.

"Ooh, yes please." El said with a smile.

He got everything situated with the drinks and walked over to the table, setting the mugs in front of them.

"So..." El began. "What exactly are we doing for the project?" She felt embarrassed now that she hadn't listened in class.

(how in the world do you do a project for math)
"Well there's a bunch of worksheets they want us to do," Julian said, pulling out a stack of sheets -
(I have no idea XDD ummmmmmmm)
"Ok," El responded, looking over the worksheets. She didn't understand any of it. "I don't remember getting taught this stuff..."
Little did El know that those things were taught that day but she wasnt. Paying. Attention. -
"We went through this today," Julian said. He hadn't really been paying attention since he already knew the stuff, but he had tuned in every once in awhile.

El grew hot with embarrassment. She kept quiet and looked down at her feet, not wanting to tell Julian what, or who she was thinking about the entire time.

According to Julian's logic, if someone didn't remember they either weren't paying attention or didn't understand it, sometimes both. So he asked her, 'Do you need me to explain it?"

El chuckled nervously. "Yes please."

So Julian did. Sometimes it was hard to follow what he was trying to say, but most of the time it was easily understandable

El nodded in understanding, even though mostly she wasn't listening. It sounds cheesy, but what was really going on in her mind was how Julian's eyes glistened, and how had these barely noticeable dimples on both sides of his mouth. She thought this subconsciously, and mentally hit herself when she realized that she was thinking it. I thought you liked Andrew...

"You got it?" Julian asked when he was finished.

"What? O-oh, yeah, I got it!"

"You sure?" he gave her a doubting look.
