After a while, the episode was over and the pages were dried. "We should get back to work," Julian said quietly

El looked down in silent disappointment and nodded. "Ok," she replied softly. El got up from her spot on the couch.

Julian got up after her and they sat down at the kitchen table working on the math sheets

El tried to help Julian as best as she could as he worked on the math sheets.

When do you think El should confess to Julian? I'm not sure if we should wait or do it after a time skip or do it sometime around now or something) -

It had been a few months. Julian wished that the only reason they were doing this wasn't because of Andrew. He did wonder why after this long El hadn't called it off and given up.
He wished the occasional kiss they shared wasn't just a charade, he wished he could just sweep her off her feet.
He wanted her to be happy. He always wanted to see that smile on her beautiful face, he wanted to help her when she was struggling, he wanted to be there for her.
But the problem was that he was restricted by El wanting Andrew, not him. -

(OH ROMANCE IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL YET HEARTBREAKING)
El was walking down the street to school that day since her bike had a flat tire and they had no bike bump. The entire way there, she couldn't stop thinking about Julian. She rarely thought about Andrew anymore; he had become a simple pebble in the back of her ocean of a mind. Pictured of Julian floated in and out of her brain, and she couldn't help it anymore. She hadn't told anyone about her feelings for him and it was driving her insane. Well, that was going to change. El spotted Julian just outside of the school and called out to him. "Julian!" -
Julian's eyes lit up at the sight of her. He walked over to El. "Hey," he said.

El sucked in a deep breath and she closed her eyes. "I- I have something to tell you," she said to Julian, pursing her lips tightly.

Julian did his best to hide the dread he felt. She was going to end this, wasn't she? She was giving up on Andrew liking her. She was going to end their relationship. "What is it?" he asked.

El was breathing shakily, and her hands were trembling. She looked up at Julian ad stared into his blue eyes. "I- I don't like Andrew anymore I don't think. I like someone else. And, that person, that person is..."

Julian held his breath, waiting for what she was about to say

El sighed and looked down at her feet. "I like you, Julian," she said, her voice barely a whisper.
