He twisted both under his fingers before going with the bowstring, easily attatching the hook to it. He then reached for his wings and pulled off one of his massive primary leathers, striping the fluff from the shaft and attatching the other end of the string to it

She watched any waited for him to finish.

He soon was done and held it out to her

She inspected in carefully. "That's pretty cool!" She said.

He grinned "glad you like it

"Okay, so how do you ice fish?" She asked. "I know where a river is."

"Well lets go to the river and ill show ya"

She opened the secret door and motioned for him to follow.

He padded after her, seeming excited

She closed the door behind them and led him to a beautifully frozen river.

He made a quiet sound of amasment and aproached the ice, stomping on it to see how thick it was

She followed him carefully, knowing ice could be thin.

He soon found a good spot and started stomping on the ice to make a hole, his hardened tallons making short work of the ice. He looked at her "have anything we can use as bait?

She held out some meat. "I brought this, I usually put it in fish traps and it attracts them just fine."

He nodded and tore off a small peice, sticking the hook through it before dropping it in the water "and now we wait.
