He made a smaller hole and stu the end of the feather shaft in it, making it stand up. "If a fish takes the bait, ittle make the rod move

She watched and waited for the rod to move.

After several minutes the rod bent down and Era quickly grabbed it, pulling the fish up

She watched with interest. "Good catch."

He nodded, slamming the fish against the ground to kill it

"How do fish survive under the ice?" She wondered aloud.

"They can slow down their metabolisms so that they can survive on the cold" he said as he rebaited the hook

"Huh, that's cool."

He nodded in agreement as he dropped the hook in the water

She waited for another fish.

Era hummed happily to himself as he fished

She jumped as the rod jerked. It swayed and jerked. It must be a big fish.

He quickly grabbed the rod and the string, wrappung the string around gis lame hand and begining to pull the fish up, going slow
