"You told me to do it, so I'm doing it," Callyn called down. She felt like the ladder was leaning back the higher she went, so she kept herself close.
She got onto the board and stared out at the edge for a moment before taking a step. -
“You okay up there?!” Turner called up to Callyn.

Callyn didn't say anything. She just kept on taking more steps faster and faster until by the time she had reached the edge she was at a run. She leaped off and made a graceful dive into the water.

Turner looked at her in awe. “That was amazing!” He remarked, starting to climb the high dive steps.

"But now my hands hurt," she said, rubbing her hands as she kept herself afloat by half treading water.

Turner frowned and stepped down from the ladder. He got in the water and was next to Callyn. “Are you okay?” He asked, taking her hands and looking for injuries.

"Yeah," Callyn said. "It's just what happens when you hit water at a fast speed. "They sting a bit, but it'll pass."

“I’m glad you aren’t hurt.” He said, sighing in relief

"I'm fine, don't worry," Callyn said, looking at him. "Even when I am hurt I don't complain about it." She started swimming towards the edge.

‘It seems like she doesn’t I didn’t go off the high dive.’ He thought to himself, clearly happy.

Callyn sat on the edge. She was a little worn out and was feeling lightheaded. She just sat there with her feet going back and forth in the water.

“Are you sure you’re okay?” He asked Callyn, looking at her worryingly.

"Yeah," Callyn said. "Just a little worn out."

“How about we go back to my house? You can rest there.” He said.

"Not that worn out," Callyn said with a roll of her eyes. "I'm not a little puppy, or anything."
