I love having my hair down when I’m swimming. For some reason it makes me feel magical.)
“I’ll hump you!” Turner announced, diving beneath the water. -
WAIT NOOOOO, I MEANT HELP NOT HUMP, NO AUTOCORRECT NO!!!!!)

Callyn looked at the bottom of the pool, searching for the familiar little brown circle. She spotted it and started swimming towards it

Turner reached it before she did. He grabbed it and went to the surface.

Callyn followed him up and grabbed it from his hand. She put it on her wrist and went for the pool's edge to rebraid her hair.

“You hair looks pretty when its down.” Turner remarked, swimming up beside her.

"Maybe so," Callyn said. "But it's awfully inconvenient that way when I'm swimming." She sat on the edge and started wringing out her hair.

“So, whats your life like?” Turner asked, watching her braid her hair in interest.

"Rather ordinary and uneventful," Callyn said with a shrug as she swiftly and efficiently plaited her hair.

“I bet that changed when I came into your life.” He said with a wink.

"Drastically," Callyn said with a laugh. "Just for clarification, are we doing just today or are we continuing on with the dating thing?"

“What I was thinking is, we have a date today, and tell everybody we’re dating. But we don't have to do that if you don’t want to.” He said with a weak smile.

"How about..." Callyn said in though as she finished her braid and put it over her shoulder. "We say that we're dating, and we tell everyone that we're going on dates, but the dates that they think we're going on are just us hanging out as friends."

“I like that idea!” Turner said in an excited tone. “But what do we tell my father? He would know if I was lying.” He said, his smile immediately turning into a frown.

"Technically they are dates," Callyn said. "They're basically just playdates for adults. Date for short."
