(That sounds cool, but where would we go from there? :o)
(Oo wait. What if Callyn started wondering who saved her and then looked for them?)
Turner was standing outside the door. He then smiled and left. It would be better for Callyn not to know he had saved her. -
(Sure)
Callyn saw some movement by the door moving away from her room that she hadn't noticed before. Wait what if that had been the person who helped her?! She moved to get up, but her body would not allow her.
"Who brought me here?" Callyn asked.
"He asked that we didn't tell you," the doctor answered.
So it was a he. Callyn was about to say something else but the doctor interrupted her.
"I'm going to bring you some things to eat. I also want you to take the rest of the week off."
Callyn nodded.
Suddenly she realized, how was she going to pay for this? Hospitals were expensive and she frankly probably didn't have enough to pay for it. -
Turner had already paid for Callyn. He knew that she wouldn't be able to pay the bill, so he had gone ahead and paid it himself. Yes, his father would be pissed off about it, but it was worth it. After all, he kinda owed Callyn this favor after kicking her out.
-
"Also the person who brought you in paid all your bills, you don't have to worry," the doctor said.
Callyn looked at him shocked. Who had it been? It had to have been someone at the store.
"I'll bring some of that food to you and then you can head out."
When Callyn returned home it was 5 in the evening. She quickly texted Alex, 'I have to take the rest of the week off, doctor's orders.' Alex responded with an 'Ok'
Callyn decided to go to Mamita's. -
Turner had arrived at Mamita's the same time as Callyn.
-
(No, at slightly different times, he notices her but she doesn't notice him)
Callyn just ordered some enchiladas again then sat in the exact same booth she and Turner would sit in. She just sat there staring off into space, blocking out the whole world from her thoughts. -
(Alr)
(Ty! ^^)
It was about 30 minutes after Callyn arrived that Turned pulled into the driveway.
He waltzed into Mamita's. Out of the corner of Turners eye, he saw Callyn. He gasped and hid behind a chair. There was no way he would let his presence be known to her! -
Carlos gave Turner a strange look.
Makita decided that instead of Callyn coming up to grab her food she'd bring it to her.
"What's wrong," Mamita said, setting the food in front of Callyn. -
"Don't. Ask." Turner snapped at Carlos.
-
Carlos put his hands up in surrender.
Callyn jumped in surprise at Mamita's sudden presence there. "Oh hey," she said quietly.
"What's wrong?" Mamita asked again.
Callum hesitated before saying, "It's me and Turner."
"What happened?"
"Um, basically I got robbed of pretty much everything in my house and so he was letting me stay at his house for awhile. And about a week ago he kicked me out.
It really wasn't the fact that he kicked me out, it was the reasoning behind it. He thinks I was using him.
And awhile before he was acting distant, almost as if he wasn't sure if he wanted to be around me.
I really miss him. I miss his goofy smile, the way he'd get excited over the littlest things. He's so sweet and kind and caring. I really miss him.
But now he hates me. Now he wants nothing to do with me." -
(Why do I feel like Mamita's going to kill Turner. ;_;)
"Has Callyn been okay?" Turner asked. -
"This is the first we've seen her in quite a few weeks," Carlos answered. "But from the looks of it, not one bit."
Callyn's eyes were beginning to get red and puffy from trying to fight back the tears.
"He didn't even sound like himself. When he last talked to me, he didn't sound like the Turner I know. I think it was his dad...but I don't know." -
Turner frowned. He knew why Callyn was upset. It was because of what he had said to her.
Oh, how he wished to have taken those dradful words back! -
*dreadful
-
"I miss him, I want him back. But I can't because he hates me. He hates me and there's nothing I can do about it."
Callyn realized she'd completely lost her appetite. "I'm not hungry anymore, can I get a box?"
Mamita nodded while putting a comforting hand on Callyn's for a moment before getting up.
On her way to get a to go box she passed Turner. "So what do you think now?" Mamita asked, before leaving for Turner to ponder that question. She soon returned to Callyn.
"Thank you for listening," Callyn said.
"Everything will turn out, don't worry," Mamita said.
Callyn just nodded and left the restaurant.
