"I thought you hated me," she said in a volume between a whisper and a quiet voice.

"Hate you? I never hated you. Ever. I just got mad and wasn't thinking clearly." Turner said.

"What made you think clearly, then?" she asked.

"The time you passed out in the store. Carlos's words kept ringing throughout my head that day.." Turner said quietly.

Callyn didn't know what Carlos had told him, but she was grateful. "I missed you."

"I missed you as well. I'm so sorry for the way I treated you." Turner said softly.

Callyn leaned out of the hug. "What happened?" she asked, rubbing her head.

"You got hit by a truck." Turner said.

"Oh," she said.

Turner raised an eyebrow.
"Just oh?" He questioned. -
"Sorry," she said. "I just don't really know how to react to it."
Just then the doctor came in to talk to Callyn. He basically told them everything he knew about the situation. Her right arm was broken, as well as six broken ribs. Both of her legs were broken. She also had a chance of being slightly crippled in her right leg. -
"At least the injuries aren't fatal." Turner said grimly.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Callyn said.
A few days later, the doctors said she could leave if she had a nurse or something over at where she was staying.
However, Turner wasn't having it, saying that he could take care of Callyn himself and didn't need any of the nurses to come over.
"Turner," Callyn said, "I'm going to need some help other than you."
(Sorry, I was kind of controlling your character, but I could completely imagine Turner doing this? -

"Yes, I agree. You can have help from me, myself, and I.” Turner said sternly.
