Sebastian didn’t understand Italian, so he just awkwardly said "Goodbye. See you soon" and hung up.
"That went reasonably well," Reyna said, trying to comfort Nickola. "My father is difficult to win over." -
(He said goodbye, good sir)
"Mio amore," Nickola said. "Nothing will stop us from getting married. I will arrange for me to leave for America immediately." -
"Good," Reyna replied shakily. "He really is dead set on meeting you."

"I am guessing he is the type of man that says what he means and means what he says, if that is the case," Nickola said.

"Yes. You are correct, my love," Reyna said. "I have a feeling he’ll want to see us immediately."

"We will leave tomorrow morning" Nickola said.

"Sounds good," Reyna responded.

"I'm sure Mabel is in your room with your clothes," Nickola said. "Go to her."

Without a word, Reyna walked to her room. "Hello, Mabel," she said softly.

"Padrona, is everything alright?" Mabel asked upon her entering.

"No," Reyna said. "So I might be getting married to Nickola I always saw it coming but I didn’t think it would happen so soon we're flying to America and he wants my father's blessing." It all came pouring out and Reyna explained everything as she dressed.

"At least he is waiting until after you are married this time," Mabel said.

"Ugh, yeah, but you're right," Reyna replied. "I'd better go now. He wants me." Reyna left and went straight back to Nickola like a puppy returning to their owner.

Nickola had been sitting in his office chair, and looked up when Reyna walked in. "What is it, my dear?" he asked. "Why are you here?"
