Reyna laced her fingers in Nickola's, not as an act of affection, but so he would misinterpret it as one.

Nickola's eyes lighted up when she did that. He was completely blind to the fact that she didn't love him. He led her through various hallways of the mansion until they reached two bedrooms. One of them was painted with stars and hand-painted planets and other galactic things. The other one was a light periwinkle. They were both fully furnished with beds and dressers and curtains and everything like that.
"I want twins," Nickola said, looking at Reyna with his stunning blue eyes. "A boy and a girl. They would have your eyes and nose." -
"Twins?" Reyna asked, then forced herself to smile. "Oh, of course! I wanted twins too. I just didn’t think that you wanted them as well." She smiled at him and gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Of course we will wait until after we are married," Nickola said. "The marriage bed kept pure."

"That sounds amazing," Reyna said with a fake smile.

"Mio amore, I am glad you are starting to understand," Nickola said. "Come, I want you to do something." He took her hand and started leading her to his office.

Reyna walked with him to his office.

Nickola picked up the phone in there. "Call your father," he said. "And once you're done I would like to speak to him."

Reyna gulped and dialed Sebastian's number. They had a nice short conversation, and then she said, "Uh... someone wants to speak with you," and handed Nickola the phone.

(Yes and yeah)
Sebastian frowned. "Who is this?" Sebastian asked as Reyna gave the phone to Nickola.
Reyna shifted uncomfortably and hid behind Nickola, even though she knew his dad couldn't see him. -
"I am Nickola Candrevo," he said. "I am asking for your daughter's hand and your blessing."

"She has never mentioned you before. This is very sudden, very fishy." Sebastian was suspicious.
Reyna sighed in the background and interjected. "Please, Dad? He's lovely." -
(I would've thought she'd be hoping he'd say no)
"I love her," Nickola said. "You have no idea how much money, how much power I have. I can keep your daughter happy, so happy. She'll live like a queen. Under my sight she will stay safe, nothing can harm her, not even a single strand of her hair."
(Either have him say no or be on the fence) -
(She is inside, but outside she has to act like she isn’t for Nickola will be Nickola)
"I don't know about this," Sebastian said. "Maybe—give me some time. I need to think about this. I’m sorry, young man, but this is all so sudden... I think that I need to meet you in person, if you're not too busy."
