"But what would my day be without you?" Adrian said. "I bet it would be terribly bland."

Jewel thought about that for a second. "I can't think of what it would be like then." she said.

Adrian smiled at her, glad to be on better terms with her.

Jewel looked out the plane window and watched the clouds go by.

Hours later they arrived in London.

Eventually they got back to their bunker in the sewers. Adrian's emotions tanked. Now he'd have to tell them what happened. -
Jewel just followed Adrian.

"Adrian!" James said happily when he saw him. His expression fell when he felt Adrian's dim mood.
"What's wrong?" Tessa asked. -
"A few things." said Jewel.

Kendril sighed then said, "Jewel made a deal with Lucifer."

"But for a reason." Jewel said.

"What reason," Tessa inquired.

"To bring my brother back to life." she said.
