"Well first we have to figure out what your abilities actually are," Adrian said looking away from her. "And don't expect them to pop up right away."

“Well... does it happen when I’m angry or when I’m excited?” Sade was growing impatient. “How am I supposed to know?”

"I don't know, I'm not you," Adrian said. "If you want to we can work on trying to make them show up now or we can wait until tomorrow."

“Now,” Sade demanded. If she was going to be subject to this testing, she would at least learn how to run it.

"Okay," Adrian said. He started walking down the stairs when he stopped. "I don't remember if I grabbed your coat or not

“There’s no telling what you grabbed,” Sade mumbled as she followed Adrian down the stairs. She held tightly onto the rail. Stairs were awful in her opinion.

"Not as bad as elevators," Adrian said. "Those things just don't sit right with me. He put on his leather jacket. He then reached into a closet and pulled out a jacket and handed it to Sade. "I didn't really pay attention to what I put into your suitcase. You can organize it later."

Sade slipped the jacket on with a smirk. “I’d like to see you in an elevator,” she said, barely aloud. Even though all of this was strange, incredibly strange, Sade had a feeling something good might come out of it.

"Well unfortunately for you we likely won't be going near any elevators anytime soon," Adrian said. He opened the door and stepped out after her. "By the way, did you find anything interesting while looking through my room?"
(Her abilities don't show up yet. I'll cue you in when they do.
Also sorry if it feels like I'm controlling the roleplay but I have a certain way I want things to go for some things, if that makes sense) -

Sade turned around to face Adrian. Her face also turned red due to her embarrassment. “Why haven’t you slept in your bed?” She asked him.

"Because you were sleeping in it," Adrian said. "Actually I was out of the country and just got back today." He looked down at her feet. "I did pack you shoes, you know."

Sade growled, “I don’t need shoes.” She looked up at Adrian, staring more deeply into his eyes. “Before I slept in your bed,” Sade paused, blushing at the way she phrased her sentence. “You haven’t slept there in weeks, months maybe.”

"Like I said, I was out of the country and just got back today," Adrian said. "I don't think your feet will enjoy that very much."
