“Just get going before I shove my foot up your ass,” Sade murmured, walking ahead of him and out the door.
-
Adrian raised his eyebrows and walked out after her. It was late afternoon. He led her a little ways away from the cabin and stopped. He didn't know when her powers would pop up and he'd rather his cabin not be the victim of it. "Alright, don't get angry because I have never done magic and have absolutely no idea what I'm doing."
-
“You have absolutely no idea...” Sade giggled. “Think about me here,” she said with a smile. Maybe she would warm up to Adrian, maybe she wouldn’t.
-
Adrian shrugged. "I dunno...try setting that pile of leaves on fire?" He ran his hands through his hair. This was going to be hard.
-
Sade watched Adrian run his fingers through his hair, and she bit her lip. She shook her head then said, “What if something more mind involved? Like telekinesis or something.”
-
"Right, elemental stuff is more advanced, if I remember correctly," Adrian said. "Go ahead and try it if you want to."
-
Sade felt like she was straining her brain as she concentrated on finding her supernatural abilities. She took a deep breath, and tried to focus on her goal. It wasn’t going to be easy, but she couldn’t get too frustrated. It would only slow her down.
-
Adrian watched her trying to use telekinesis. Minute after minute went by but nothing happened. "You look ridiculous," he eventually said.
-
“You look ridiculous,” Sade said back. She chuckled a bit, then laid down against the grass. “I’m tired already,” she whispered.
-
"Well you haven't eaten anything all day and the sun is on its way down," Adrian said. "We can head back and I'll make supper."
-
“That sounds wonderful,” Sade smiled, getting herself up from the ground. She dusted herself off, but she knew there was probably either some dirt or a grass stain on her butt.
-
"Don't worry, if there is I do have a washing machine," Adrian told her. He took long strides to the entrance of the cabin and opened the door for her. "What do you want to eat?" he asked.
-
“Whatever you can make,” Sade smirked. “Something tells me you aren’t the best cook.”
-
"Ah, you are greatly mistaken," Adrian said as he walked in after her. "I pride myself on being an excellent cook."
(Sorry I can never have a character that can't cook well. It just pains me too much when my own character can't cook XD) -
Sade shook her head, trying not to laugh. She sat at the small, wooden round table. “Surprise me then,” she giggled.
