(I get that lol. Do you think you're going to survive the vast amount of questions that Rasia has?)
"Queen Quirona said when the Earth was stable," Rasia said. "And that you'd 'rise to it once more.' I just thought that implied that you guys had been up there before." -
(I don't think so.)
Laucian said "Look, I don't know, okay? I think the queen was trying to sell the point of you being here. She has a flair for the dramatic." -
(I can see that XD)
"I'm sure she does," Rasia said. "Suggesting I'd cut my ears." -
Laucian said "That happens more often than you think."

Rasia looked at him. "Really?" she said in surprise. "Wow."

Laucian said "Yeah, some people just really want attention." He then stopped and said "Hold it, I hear something."

Rasia froze. She didn't hear anything. Did elves have some special ability or something where they could hear things from far away?

Laucian pulled out his bow and started looking around. The noise began to grow louder. It sounded like some sort of clicking and snapping along with the sound of scraping.

Rasia was kind of surprised at the bow, forgetting that they didn't have guns. She was starting to be able to hear what he was. She realized that, except for her swiss army knife, she didn't have any weapons.

Suddenly, a large creature dropped from the wall and roared at them both. Laucian shot it in the shoulder and tried to ready another shot but dropped his arrows.

The shot in the shoulder only seemed to make the beast angry. Rasia fumbled with her bag before pulling out her knife. It wasn't anything much, but it was something.

(For a sense of what we're fighting, think the Demogorgon mixed with the creatures from A Quiet Place.)
The creature tried to slash at Laucian but he dodged and grabbed some more of the arrows on the ground. -
(I have no idea what either of those two things are lemme look them up)

The monster roared again. Rasia threw her knife. She was very skilled at knife-throwing. She was hoping it would hit some vital part in the mouth that would at least make it easier for them. -
(I like how we're both controlling this monster.)
Laucian shot it in the mouth to stun it. It worked and it started to struggle to pull the arrow out. -
(Well, then I'm just leaving you with all the trouble, aren't I?)
Rasia looked around, looking for anything she could do to it while it was distracted. She probably wasn't going to get her knife back. She looked up in the cave and saw a couple rocks on the larger side, that could possibly put the creature out. She started making her way there, hoping that it wouldn't see her.
