Megan looked away from him. "Uh I don't know," she said.

Nathan pouted. "You won't look at me. Why won't you look at me?"

Megan looked at him. "There," she said.

Nathan seemed somewhat satisfied. "Eye contact is very important down in hell. You see if you look anyone directly in the eye and they look YOU directly in the eye," he said, making hand gestures. "You're going to die. But on Earth it's polite."

"Oh man," Megan said.

Nathan nodded. "You should visit sometime!"

"I don't think I want to, based on how you described it,' Megan said honestly.

"I mean when you get past the nasty stuff there, they have nice lava baths," Nathan said. "Do you like lava baths?"

"We don't have lava baths, we have water baths," Megan said. "Not to mention that taking a lava bath will kill me."

"Water?" Nathan said curiously. "Like a cup of water?"

"But in a larger amount," Megan said. She stood up. "Here, I'll show you."
She led him to the bathroom and walked over to the bathtub where she put the plug in it and turned on the faucet. -
Nathan dunked his hand in and splashed it around. "It's clear," he said in fascination.

Megan had to remind herself that there was no water in hell. "It is," she said. If you're at a pond or a lake you can watch the fish swimming."

"Do you think I could eat them?" Nathan said brightly.

"I mean," Megan said, "Uhhh...Yes?"
