(Yep)
Kenna woke up a bit late that morning. She looked at her clock. 10:18. Bleh. She flopped her head back down onto her pillow. Then she remembered she was meeting Alastair today and shot up out of bed -
That paragraph made me laugh XD))
Alastair rolled out of bed, landing hard on the wooden floor. He felt incredibly groggy, but when he remembered that he was meeting Rebecca, he kicked the blankets away and got up. -
(That's me 10000%)
Kenna ate breakfast then got ready for the day. She thought for a moment. They hadn't told each other a spot where they would meet. But he had told her where he lives, so she just decided to go there. She walked out her door and onto the sidewalk. -
Someone's gonna hear me! XD))
Alastair zoomed through his morning tasks, wondering when she would pop up. That thought alone was enough to motivate him to get things done. -
(lol)
Camberlin, Patterstone Street, first house to the left. His words rang in Rebecca's mind as she made her way that way. If she didn't repeat it over again in her mind, chances were she was going to forget it.
She arrived at where she hoped was the right house and rang the doorbell. -
Alastair had just thrown a jacket on when he heard the doorbell ring. He walked down and opened it, and there was Rebecca. "Nice to see you again," he said with a smile. "Where do you want to discuss things?"
-
Rebecca shrugged. "I don't really care," she said honestly.
-
"You can come inside, if you'd like," Alastair said. He didn't want to show off his house, which was rather fancy, but it would be rude not to invite her in.
-
"Okay," Kenna said, taking a step into the house. "Whoa," she said, completely forgetting that noting the size and expense of a person's dwelling aloud is rude. "Sorry, I'm forgetting my manners, but wow."
-
"It's fine," Alastair said, waving a hand dismissively. "My parents are very...well, I think you can tell."
-
(just realized I switched characters there lol)
Rebecca nodded. She lived in a small house, meaning that the entire thing could probably fit in the entrance. "I'll have to take you to my house sometime," she said. -
Pfft))
"I'm sure it's lovely," Alastair said with a smile. "I wish that I lived somewhere a little more simplistic. Shall we go to the lounging room?" -
"Sure," Rebecca said, following him. She'd probably get completely lost if she was on her own in this place.
-
Alastair led her to a smaller room with sofas and plushy cushions. He sat down and began. "So, where were we?"
-
"As in where is the Dancing, or which topic did we stop talking at?" Rebecca asked.
