"I surrender," Alastair said, raising his hands up in a "don't shoot" pose. "Fall is a lovely season after all."

"I knew I'd persuade you to see things differently," Rebecca said.

"Spring's still my favorite though," Alastair said in an almost teasing tone.

"C'mon," Rebecca said, looking at him with a smile. "I almost had you."

"Almost, but not quite," Alastair said.

"Aw man," Rebecca said, moving her arm in that one movement I can't remember how you describe it.

Alastair chuckled. "Nice try though." -
(like you put your arm into a right angle and swing it across the front of your body)
"Indeed," Rebecca said. -

"The leaves are so beautiful," Alastair commented. "I think I'm beginning to like orange." -
"It's growing on you," Rebecca said.

"I think so too," Alastair said. "It must be contagious."

"Do what exactly do you like about spring?" Rebecca asked.

"As I said, everything comes to life," Alastair said. "New little lives are born and everything is filled with color. The air is warm, the weather shifts often, and it's the most beautiful time of year."

"Again, it's a cold muddy wet mess," Rebecca said. "I don't see where this 'color' you say is coming from."
