"Alright," Bluefly said with a purr.

He snuggled against her and licked her paw.

Bluefly nuzzled against him, twining her tail around his. A good deal of time passed and she started to feel an odd sensation in her stomach.

He fell asleep, purring.

Bluefly's heart leapt. She gently got up, brushing her tail against Drakestorm's pelt and heading towards the medicine cat's den.

He slept peacefully, without twitching or any nightmares. In hi dream, he chased rabbits and Bluefly was so proud of him... and they had so many kits.

Jadestone felt her stomach. "It's a little too early to tell, but...maybe."

Their kits were great warriors, and he dreamed they won every battle without a scratch. They made the fresh-kill pile in leafbare make it the same it was in greenleaf. He purred loudly in his sleep.

Bluefly returned to Drakestorm's side and slept.

After a while, he awoke. The sun was beginning to set. He nosed Bluefly. "We slept a little late. Want to go on the dusk patrol with me?"

"Mmhmm," Bluefly said sleepily, her eyes still closed.

"Do you want to eat first? There's a nice rabbit on the fresh-kill pile I could get for you."

"Alright. Thank you," Bluefly said, nudging her head against his and purring.

He nuzzled her, and went to go retrieve the rabbit, and brought it back to her.

Bluefly licked his cheek and ate it, feeling better than ever. "Ready to go?"
