Bluefly stopped walking and turned to look at Rainkit, who was trembling from head to tail. "What is it?"
"InfernoClan wants to take over," Rainkit said with a small shiver. "I'm supposed to be their spy, but I won't do it, won't won't won't! -
Drakestorm was right behind Bluefly. "Should we trust her?" He whispered to his mate. "She could be telling the truth... but is she?"

"If she's not telling the truth, we can't take her back," Bluefly replied. "But if she is, she's risking her life to tell us their plan. It isn't false, after all."
After a moment of thought, she whispered back, "Maybe if she's kept under a watchful eye, she won't be able to tell them anything." -

Clearwater lifted the little kit up by her scruff and Bluefly kept close to Drakepelt. Everyone seemed to have decided, everyone except for Reedpelt.
"Why does he get to call the shots? I thought YOU were leading the patrol," Reedpelt said.
"Reedpelt? Please shut up," Treeslash said. "It's called an "opinion"." -
Drakestorm turned to Reedpelt. "I'm sorry, but even if I'm not calling the shots, your brother seems to agree with me. If Fernstar doesn't want the kit in camp, she can take care of the kit herself." And with that, he padded close to Bluefly again, and nuzzled her shoulder affectionately.

Reedpelt bristled. Even his brother was teaming up against him!
Treeslash led the group back to camp. Fernstar jumped down and padded over. "What is the meaning of this?" -
"The kit is telling the truth, and doesn't want to help Dawnstar." Drakestorm explained.

"Are you sure it isn't some sort of trick?" Fernstar said, her eyes narrowed with suspicion.

"If Bluefly believes her, I believe her too. I trust my mate enough to trust the kit. If you don't take my word for it, speak to the kit yourself." He mewed defensively.

"Relax, Drakestorm," Fernstar said. "A kit can be easily manipulated. Have her watched constantly and feed her slowly but surely. Since Bluefly and Drakestorm are so sure of her innocence, they will act as her parental figures."

"Can I guard her den overnight?" He asked. "Just to be safe, since you want her watched constantly?"

"Alright. I want guards over the camp as well, because we might be attacked. Reedpelt, you will take the first shift. Everyone, be alert," Fernstar said.

"Is that it?" He asked. "Or are there any other precautions we need to take?"
