He chewed, and a sour expression turned on his face as he ate borage and tansy, both bitter. But when he ate the catmint, it tasted really, really good. "Thank you, Jadestone." He mewed, nuzzling Bluefly

"No problem," Jadestone said with a bittersweet smile before padding off. Bluefly curled up next to him, laying her head on his shoulder.

He wrapped a sore tail around his mate with a crackly purr. "I love you, Bluefly." He mewed tiredly.

"I love you too, Drakestorm," Bluefly said, licking his injured ear gently.

He snuggled his head affectionately between her front paws, falling asleep.

Nightpelt led the apprentices out of camp, teaching Frog how to hunt.

Drakestorm woke up, still surrounded by Bluefly's scent. He breathed in, and out, to see how his chest was, and it still hurt, though was slightly better.

Nightpelt had added on to their pile of two, purring softly. Frogpaw and Whistlepaw were curled up around Toadpaw, who was more relaxed now.

He nudged his mate. "Bluefly, it's sunrise."

Bluefly yawned. "Hmm, so it is," she said softly, wrapping her tail around him before standing up and stretching. "I'd better go and get our kit."

"Jadestone, you awake?" He called sleepily into the medicine den.

Jadestone blinked tiredly at Drakestorm. "I am now," she said pleasantly. "What is it?"
Bluefly went to get Rainkit, who woke up at the sound of her footsteps. She purred and winded herself around her legs. Bluefly picked up the small kit and brought her back to her nest, grooming her. -
"Can I have a little of whatever you gave me last night? Me chest still hurts. And when can I train my apprentice?" He asked.
