"The good news is that you're going to be a father," Jadestone said with a smile.

The news shocked him a little, and he purred. "When is the litter due?"

Imagine if they didn't and they were like "POP WE HERE MAMMA" lol))
"About 2 moons," Jadestone said with a purr. -
"So that's why she can't stay. She has to stay in the nursery, right?" He guessed.

"Yes, and you could pass something on to her from your wounds," Jadestone said. "Once you're all healed up, you'll be able to visit her."

"Argh. Nightpelt can't stay here either. She's staying with Bluefly. And if you put someone like Reedpelt in here, my pelt is going to be torn off." He growled.

"I won't deny that," Jadestone said, rasping her tongue over her paw and washing her ears. "So you'll be stuck with the boring old medicine cat of MossClan!"

"Do you know where I was when I was dreaming and got hurt? Was it really the Dark Forest?" He asked, worried.

"I'm afraid that it was," Jadestone said. "Now I want you to tell me every little detail you can think of. How you got there, what happened, who was there, the whole bundle."

"Well, when I fell asleep, it felt like claws were tearing at my mind, somehow, and dragging me under, until I felt overwhelmed with darkness. When I stood up, there were black, crumbling trees and everything had fog and a dim glow." He explained.

"That's the Dark Forest," Jadestone said. "Was there a gloomy marsh in the distance?"

"I couldn't tell. As soon as I stood up, a cat attacked me, a tom. He looked a bit like Reedpelt, but I don't think it was actually him - though they had a similar scent. Then he faded, and there was a white she-cat." Drakestorm described the scene to her.

"As far as I know, Reedpelt's only living littermate was Treeslash," Jadestone said thoughtfully. "Perhaps you met their father. As for the white she-cat, what color eyes did she have?"

"I couldn't tell. I thought they were faintly red, but that's what every dead cat in the Dark Forest has eyes like."
