Myriad lifted his head to look at her, but otherwise didnt respond

"Why didn't you go with them?" Kate said.

"They were already gone when i arived" he said quietly

"Oh," Kate said. "Sorry."

Myriad just shrugged and looked at the building

"If you could rejoin them, would you?" Kate asked.

Myriad frowned and then shrugged "don know

Kate sighed. "What happens now? I don't know what to do, or where to go."

Myriad tilted his head at her and shrugged again

"You know, we could start our own gang if we wanted to," Kate said. "Make the rules the way we want them. What do you think?"

Myriad gave a low hum and then nodded

"Is it a deal?" Kate said, holding her hand out in an almost casual manner.

Myriad tilted his head at her before shrugginv and shaking her hand

Kate smiled. "Nice. Where do we start?"
