Myriad did notice her, but completely ignored her in favor of not getting caught

When he passed by, she let out a sigh of relief. Thank God. She jumped out and continued on as usual. What was the best way to go under cover? Faking your own death, of course. A plan began to form in her mind.

Myriad slipped into an alley to count how much he had stolen

How would she go about it? Probably pretending to be shot, acting as if she were bleeding to death. If they saw through it, she could act like it was a joke.

Myriad yawned and rubbed at his face, pofketing the case

Kate went and bought all the supplies she'd need, making a fake bullet wound and dabbing it with blood. She made everything look as realistic as possible, pressing her hand against the wound and hunching over. She fired her gun at the air, quickly hiding it and acting like she'd been shot.
People around her screamed, running away. -
Myriad heard the gun, and turned to watch the scene

Kate limped her way to the gang, letting blood drip everywhere.

Myriad slipped after her, staying quiet

She knocked on the door. "Help, I'm dying," she said. She had swallowed a vial of pufferfish poison that would imitate death. She shuddered at the thought of her heart stopping.

As someone who was very much obsessed with poisons and venoms for a period of time, thats really not how that works lol)
One of the guards opened the door, then looked alarned and pulled her inside -

Kate followed him, hunched over. -
