Captain didnt respond, but grabbed the blanket with one hand -

Chrome mewled and crawled toward the warmth. He wiggled under the blanket and leaned against Captain. -
Captain made a quiet chittering purr in response
(Pillow nest best nest) -

Chrome imitated Captain, cuddling closer. -
Captain put an arm around him, cuddling the cat

Cassandra watched the scene with a happy expression on her face.

Captains wings curled around himself and the cat

Cass ate a granola bar and then fell asleep on the couch.

Captain woke up a few hours latter when the audio book stopped, carefully sitting up. He looked down at his bare ribs and then moved into a kneeling position. He took a deep breath and then started tracing runes in the air, leaving shimering white lines

Chrome watched, batting at them with his widdle paws.

Chomes paws went right through them, leaving them unchanged. Captain finished making his runic array and pulsed some magic though it, causing a gray shirt to appear

Chrome mewed at it, tilting his head to try and get every angle of it.

Captain then changed a few runes, this time making a deep blue tail coat

Chrome went over and experimentally batted at it.

It appeared to be a perfectly normal tailcoat
