Captain paused, thinking, beforw shaking his head. "No-maybe. You soul is your being-self." He said, lapsing into his strange form of speaking as his eyelight flickered

Cass looked down at herself, as if she expecting to see her soul pop out. "Being-self," she repeated. "Interesting."

Captain nodded, playing with the bear again

Cass checked the time. "Oof. I have to go teach. I'll see you later, Captain!"
She walked over to her laptop and flipped it open, opening up Zoom. -
Captain blinked as he watches her, tilting his head a little

"Testing, testing," Cass said. "Jelly beans. Can you kids hear me?"
A chorus of "yes"es came from the computer. -
Captain jumped at the voices and started creeping over to see

"So today, we'll be learning about frogs," Cass began. "Now, what's the first phase a frog goes through?"
"Egg!" one squeaked.
"Emo," a meme child interjected. -
Captain moved so he could see the screen and rattled softly

"The frog's life begins as an egg," Cass said, momentarily glancing behind her to hear what the rattling noise was. "Oh, hi Captain!"
The children peered at their screens to see who Captain might be. "He's pretty." -
Captain half his behind his wings, feeling spooked

"These are my students," Cass said brightly. "Don't worry, they're friendly."

Captain moved closer as he lowered his wings "students? What teach-learn?"

"Um, frogs," Cass replied, as Chrome mercilessly hunted one outside.

"Frogs?" Captain asked, sitting down next to her to see the children better
