Chrome looked at Captain and let out a whining meow, tapping the part of his ribcage where the frog was frantically and repeatedly bouncing off of.

Captain pulled the frog out

Chrome smacked it, causing it to croak and flap its little legs.

Captain hissed at the cat, lifting the frog away

Chrome mewed in confusion, leaning his paws on Captain's arm and lifting his head up.

"No-bad leave them alone-fine"

Chrome sat down, his tail flicking from side to side and his eyes wide. He wanted to smack, but he distinctly heard the word "no".

Captain lowered the frog

Chrome narrowed his eyes at the frog but didn't attack it.

Captain put the frog on the cat

Chrome gave Captain a look of disbelief, his tail flicking rapidly from side to side.

Captain giggled happily

The frog hopped onto Chrome's head, causing the cat to shake it and send the frog flying. It landed with a loud plop, quite unhurt but a little disgruntled.

Captain carefully moved to check on the frog

Chrome's eyes got huge and he wiggled into a pouncing position.
