Captain whimpered softly in pain, his single eyelight flickering

Chrome mewed apologetically, rubbing his face against Captain's undamaged face.

Captain carefully pet the cat

Chrome purred and decided to take a seat on Captain's chest, tentatively tapping it before climbing on.

Captain started rattling in his own version of a purr

Chrome curled up and stared at Captain, his tail curling around him as he sat in a bread loaf position.

Chrome squinted happily at Captain, closing his eyes.

Captain turned his head to look at Cass

Cass was still fast asleep, in snoozie mode. The frog hopped along the floor.

Captain reached out and grabbed the frog

The frog croaked heartily and caught the attention on Chrome.

Captain stared at the frog before stuffing it into his ribcage

Chrome peered into his ribcage, pawing at it in attempt at reaching the frog. The frog croaked and repeatedly bonked its head as it hopped around.

Captain giggled and covered his mouth as he tried to stay quiet.
