Vitalus then started panicking, flitting around her while squeaking in worrt

The metal arm zipped into a room and through a portal. Thankfully, Elytra had had the foresight to let go of it.

Vitalus looked very confused and concerned

"What is that?" Elytra said, dodging a few utensils.

Vitalus moved closer to the portal

Her dagger zipped through, and she watched as more bits of metal flew towards the portal.

Vitalus hissed at the portal

Elytra touched it and it threw sparks at her.

Vitalus grabbed one of the forks as it slid past and threw it at the portal

The portal fizzed and the groan of creaking metal sounded as the roof dipped in.

Vitalus shrieked and shot towards Elytra, pulling her away. Fang then turned the corner with another monster in tow, which appeared to he somekind of serpentine bird. The monster fired a blast of plasma at the portal

Elytra watched in horror as a large metal maw protruded out of the portal, with sharp teeth.

The birb fired at the think as Sephantus charged forward to attack

An ominous orange glow began rising from the depths of the maw as it prepared to torch Sephantus.

Sephantus then reared himself back onto his back 4 legs as his belly long mouth spread wide open, slamming down on the thing as acid spilled from the cavity
