Elytra patted Sephantus approvingly. "You did good," she said.

Sephantus grumbled quietly at her and fang laughed

Elytra got some food from the cafeteria and fell upon. A battle with a metallic monster had worked up her appetite.

Vitalus followed her curiusly, stealing sone food off her plate

Elytra patted him every once a while, happy to have such a nice companion.

Vitalus cooed at her befire he started playing with her hair

Elytra smiled, more at home than she'd expected.

He started braiding her hair

Elytra was surprised. "Where'd ya learn that, buddy?"

He just shrugged

"Huh," Elytra said, returning to her food. "That's interesting."

Vitalus continued braiding her hair

An odd pair the two made, but an oddly fitting one. Elytra finished a particularly delicious piece of thin beef.

Vitalus finished and giggled

Elytra felt it. "Ooh, thanks!"
