The acid ate through the metal a bit, but the maw was otherwise still powerful. It was sucking in all things metal like a monster magnet.

Sephantus started chewing away at the thing

The maw surged forth, the beginning of a large and nasty creature. Its head was so large that it crashed through the ceiling, its lamp like eyes locking on Sephantus with anger.

Sephantus just screeched at the thing before Fang darted forward and sunk a spear into a joint in its neck

The neck absorbed her weapon, using the spearhead to mend the puncture and splitting the wood into splinters.

Fang looked pissed as sge lept onto Sephantus's back, who was starting to rip and tear at rhe things face with his many teeth and forelimbs

The roof dipped in even further, wrapping around the creature's neck and other joints.

Sephantus climbed on top of the thing, acid spilling out of his mouth like a waterfall

The beast ducked out of the way, crawling further out of the portal. Elytra took a piece of wood and wedged it in one of the chinks in the creature's armor.

Sephantus screeched at the beast as he clung to it

The beast opened his jaws wide to encase Sephantus in a metal death trap.

Sephantus scrambled free of its maw and onto its neck

The creature roared and charge out of the portal. Elytra ran out of the way as his head crashed through the ceiling, raining down rubble everywhere.

Vitalus hovered next to her as Sephantus was dragged along with it

The creature barreled towards the ground, trying to rid himself of Sephantus.
