Flix had been about to take a large juicy peach. Ardis felt a part of her wishing to enjoy the paradise, but the other parts of her knew it would result in death.

"I dont like this place" Phen hissed, his tail lashing

"I don't like it either," she said. "I despise how tempting it is."

Phen looked at her in confusion "this is tempting to you?

"In a way, yes," Ardis said. "The forest appears in the most appealing form it can."

Phen looked around, disgust clear on his face "i dont understand

"To me, it looks like a paradise," Ardis said. "What do you see?"

"Just death." He said simply, his tail twitching in an agitated manner

"I see," Ardis said. "Actually, I don't see. Because I see the stupid fruit."

Phen hummed

Ardis kept her gaze straight. "Just a little longer."
A fluffy little squirrel blinked at them innocently, before leaping at them, its fangs wide and dripping with poison. -
Phens tail swung around and smacked it away

The squirrel glared at them before it was nyoomed by a blossoming lily.

Phen growled lowly in annoyance

"This place gives me the creeps," Ardis said. She unfurled the map once again to examine it. "We'll have to stay the night here."
