"I know," Dallas said proudly, popping some more into her mouth. She held her hand out to Rin. "Do you want any?"
-
"sure," said Rin taking some blackberries.
-
"So can you tell me about the ruins?" she said.
-
"well that's a whole history lesson. So naturally I'll tell a shortened version of the story, long ago before aviemore was even built, there were two kingdoms the city of may and the city of Flora. These cities had been at war for as long as anyone could remember, until one day the princess of Flora was kidnapped by the grand sorcerer of May, and while she was captured she fell in love with the sorcerer and one day he told her that he kidnapped her to stop the war, eventually they decided to build a kingdom in the fields between Flora and May and send it into the sky, so before they raised it everyone went to the city and the sorcerer used his magic to raise aviemore and make all the residents immortal to a certain degree but in doing so died." Rin said.
-
"We have plenty of time," Kenna said. "You can give us more details."
-
"Oh," Dallas said. "That's why Aviemore is also called the City of Mayflowers, isn't it?"
-
"yes and aviemore means Mayflowers in a long forgotten language." Rin said (aviemore actually does mean Mayflowers in Latin)
-
"More information!" Kenna said.
-
Dallas jumped, before realizing it was just Kenna.
-
"well the princess of Flora is our very own beautiful queen elincia, and the sorcerer auluvin was the first king of aviemore. Princess elincia was originally going to marry the prince of may to stop the war but auluvin was against it because he was in love. The catacombs are where auluvin's body as well as the many of his magical artifacts that keep us immortal and the artifacts that keep aviemore floating." Rin said.

"I wish you'd been my history teacher," Dallas said grumpily. "My teacher didn't give us anything useful and babied us as if we were only 50 years old."
-
"I only know the history so well because I'm part of it." Rin said.
-
"Really?" Dallas said eagerly. "How?"
-
"yes I forgot to tell you guys the most important part, the princess also had a loyal knight that helped her in the kingdom of may, and that knight was me otherwise known in the history books as Sir spade, and I did it all at the extremely young age of 18." Rin said.
