"She can't appease anyone if they're dead," Kenna said in a hard tone.

"that's what would happen if she hadn't sacrificed her happiness to raise the city, you miss would be dead and I would be dead and alot of other people because when I was 16 people could die from aging." Rin said

Kenna bit her lip and stayed silent. She didn't want to think about it. She didn't want to remember.

"you should be happy Elincia does these things for all of us." Rin said.

"She may do it for all but it doesn't reach everyone. Can't reach everyone," Kenna barely whispered, it was so quiet.

"of course it can't reach everyone, but she's still doing all a queen can do. You're lucky she cares unlike sylvian and martrix." Rin said forgetting they wouldn't know who they were.

"Who are they?" Kenna asked, eager to change the subject. She didn't want to tell them. She barely even knew them. Rin might be a legend, but what she was seeing of him she didn't care too much for.

"they are the oldest of kings." Rin said with a hint of disdain and anger in the word king.

"Let me guess," Kenna said, "They killed their way up to the throne,, or something like that?"

"Hm," Kenna said. She supposed he must've know them in some way to be acting like this.

Rin wanted to punch something, 'those monsters don't even deserve to be in the history of the world.' he thought

(I think Rin and Dallas's opposing views are interesting as well, and the fact that Dallas clearly despises her own queen whereas Rin is loyal to her.)
Dallas said nothing. She was stewing in her emotions. She wished that she hadn't said anything.
